I went for a short (read: busted my butt as hard as possible for 30 minutes) run before picking up the big three tonight.

When I walked into Rustyn’s classroom, still in my shorts and sweaty t-shirt, his teacher said to me, “Are you an athlete of some sort? Or do you teach fitness classes?”

Laughing: “Nope. Just try to run a little bit.”

Teacher: “Oh. Well, I wondered because you just kind of have that ‘look,’ like you’re constantly moving around.”

Yes, it’s called “living in constant fear that I’ll be late or forget to do something.”

Also known as life with five kids (and a maxed-out brain)…
